Initial post

Hello everyone,

Let me begin by saying that I do hate the Caps-lock key! I don't know if I know my password now, because I might have had caps-lock on when I was typing.

But ... that is incredibly boring!

I will tell you some other, more interesting things about myself.

I just had a significant birthday last month. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, but I have decided not to have any more ... ever.

I am totally blind, and I work with a beautiful female yellow Labrador Retriever guide dog named Glaze. Glaze is seven and a half.

I have another pet dog--a retired guide dog named Mia. Mia is also a female yellow Lab. She worked for a friend who lived in Quebec.

I am a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor for my state's Department for the Blind and Vision Impaired, but I'm in the process of applying to law school. I must like school. I have M.S. degrees in math and rehab counseling--a natural combination! I think it's kind of scary that *I* am being paid (sort of) to give people vocational advice.

I'm skyping my best friend right now, so I will close this out.
